At Access My Super, we understand that trying to start a family can be stressful, complicated and financially draining and we care, so we aim to make our process stress-free, simplified and cost-effective.
ATO Guidelines on IVF
Early Release of Super for IVF Applications are not required to be signed by a psychiatrist. Your treating doctor (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) can sign a support letter under; Treatment for mental health category; or Treatment for acute or chronic pain category (to alleviate associated stress of impaired fertility).
The category is determined by your treating Specialist. We recommend you or the treating Specialist to contact the ATO directly if further clarification is required on 13 10 20. The ATO Guidelines are there to simplify the application process and to avoid unnecessary costs for Accessing your Super under Compassionate Grounds.
It is estimated that infertility affects about 1 in 6 Australian couples of reproductive ages.
At Access My Super we offer support and guidance in navigating the IVF process by facilitating the Early Release of Superannuation (ERS) application for a wide range of IVF and fertility related interventions, including but not exclusive to: IVF, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), intrauterine insemination (IUI), donor eggs and sperms, gynaecology procedures and many more.
Don’t delay starting a family. Contact our friendly team today to see how we can help you access your superannuation to cover the cost of your IVF treatment.
